Position Summary

The QC Laboratory Technician is responsible to carry out the necessary test on incoming materials, during production and on finished products

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities for QC Lab Technician Job in Malta

To carry out tests to the relevant BS Standard or any other standard specified by the client and fill all relevant forms.
Reports to the Quality Manager, the outcome of the test
To keep continual contact with the respective head of sections, test product and prepare the relevant releasing form
To liaison with Head of Section BMC about works programme and sample concrete from different sites
To test incoming materials, sand, aggregates, and cement
Perform trial mixes
Work out all necessary calculations and enter all the results in computer
Ensures that all laboratory equipment is kept in working order and in its allocated place
Ensure that equipment is calibrated and maintained
Ensures that safety regulations are strictly followed
