Job Description for Lineman/ Assistant Lineman jobs in Malta :
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- The selected candidate will be installing cables structure all over the island, on poles and brackets to walls of residence homes
The individual must:
• Must have driving licence to drive Bucket truck/Cherry picker
• Have the ability to work at heights on ladders or bucket trucks
• Must be experienced working very close to energised power lines
• Must be capable of reading drawings
• Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in Cable Laying, Pole anchoring, Cable anchoring.
• Ideally possess relevant qualifications in electrical and cable handling
• Have good written and verbal English speaking and communication skills
• Be a self-starter with strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills
• Be able to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Have a good judgement, logic, and ability to adapt to situations
• Have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and workplace safety
• Must adhere to safety working cultures
• Must be able to work in a team
